Voted Best Photographer by the readers of State College Magazine every year since 2017! William Ames has more than 20 years of experience in traditional and digital photography, digital imaging, photojournalism and more, with millions of digital images in his portfolio.

His photos have appeared in magazines, books, billboards and numerous publications. He is the leading photographer of the Penn State Campus, with thousands of fine art prints displayed in homes and businesses across the nation.

Bill lives in State College, Pennsylvania, and maintains a studio at 121 South Fraser Street, near the Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza. He is a member of the Professional Photographers Association and a Life Member of the Penn State Alumni Association, with a BA in English Literature.

As a wedding photographer, Bill has photographed more than a hundred happy couples at numerous venues throughout Pennsylvania and the Penn State campus.
